BUILD STRONG FOUNDATIONS FOR LIFE

At Winning Strength, we believe strength training should be a key part of every young athlete’s development. While school PE and sports clubs offer valuable movement and coordination skills, they often miss one vital component: structured strength training.

Strength School is designed for children aged 13+, providing a safe, supportive environment to learn proper technique, build physical strength, and develop the discipline that carries over into all areas of life. From injury prevention to improved sports performance and increased confidence, the benefits of strength training at a younger age are long-lasting and wide-reaching.

Led by experienced coaches, Strength School prepares children/teenagers for future weightlifting, athletic development, and lifelong physical literacy - laying the groundwork for strong, resilient bodies and minds.

OUR STRENGTH SCHOOL SESSIONS

From aspiring young athletes to future champions, our youth training programmes at Winning Strength are built to develop strong, confident, and capable individuals. With expertly coached sessions across strength, speed, weightlifting, and strongman-style training, each class is designed to build physical foundations, improve athletic performance, and instil lifelong training habits - delivered in a safe, structured, and empowering environment.

  • Weightlifting

    Weightlifting is a hugely popular sport that transfers to many different sporting endeavours. Your child will learn the techniques which are difficult to master as an adult. Not only will their strength improve but also their speed and mobility.

    Monday, 4:30pm-5:30pm

  • General

    Our general option for youth training. We take an introduction to the sport of weightlifting and sprinkle in a bit of strongman to give the kids a well-rounded exposure to lifting weights.

    Tuesday, 5pm-6pm

  • Strongkids

    Strongkids is our modified strongman training routine for youths. You see it every year at Christmas on the TV and is a sport that we have excelled in coaching since 2010. The youths will learn how to press a log but also push, pull and carry objects developing locomotive strength qualities.

    Wednesday, 4:30pm-5:30pm

  • Speed School

    Speed is king when it comes to athletic performance to ensure you don’t get left behind! Speed School is designed to make your child faster, focusing on short-term speed and acceleration with both running drills & mechanics and weight training combined in this training session.
